This is the second of two stories I contributed to For Lorie. I normally write LOTR RPS, but this was one of my rare forays into writing Tolkien's beloved characters.
Title: Big Folk
Fandom: The Lord of the Rings
Pairing: Frodo/Sam (implied Frodo/Faramir)
Word Count: 504
Rating: PG
Summary: Spending the night at Henneth Annun forces Sam Gamgee to change his opinion of men.
Author's Notes: The screencaps seen here did not appear in the book and were added as an illustration for this post.
The For Lorie project was unique, authors from multiple fandoms coming together to support a common cause, the fight against ovarian cancer, proving that entertaining people is still the best way to make them aware of an important issue. We all made a statement with our contributions, that nothing is more important than helping a friend. If reading this story whets your appetite for more and you'd like to purchase a print copy of the book, please contact
