And, lo! The LOTR Three Stooges, baranduin , trianne and claudia603 , decided that it would be a Good Thing to do something special for our friend lorie945 , who is battling ovarian cancer. And her friends replied that this would, indeed, be a Very Good Thing!

So a bunch of us wrote fanfics in Lorie's various fandoms, and a lovely, marvelous book, "For Lorie", was put together.

It was decided that these stories could be posted in February of this year. So hear, without much ado, is the little LOTR ficlet that was my contribution to this wonderful project.
